A Multicultural Wedding In Jaisalmer With Proper Bollywood Feels

Mehal and Jophy’s multicultural wedding in Jaisalmer is here to give you proper Bollywood feels and we are totally in love with their celebrations. Jophy and Mehal met in school about 9 years ago. They both started interacting because of fest coordination and events as Mehal was in the prefectorial board. It was a cross culture wedding as she is a Hindu Marwari Punjabi and Jophy is a Christmas Malayali. Their wedding hashtag is #JoHalDilKa and we totally love it.
Scroll Down Below To Check Out All The Festivities From This Beautiful Multicultural Wedding In Jaisalmer:
1. Phoolon Ki Haldi
Mehal and Jophy started their wedding ceremonies with a flower shower haldi ceremony and Bhat. The décor was tones of browns with earthen rajasthani pots, bajra and a lot of local produce beautifully done in the air. The ceremony was fun-filled and here is proof of it.
In case you are looking for brides who wore white for the haldi ceremony.
2. The Met Gala Kind Of Cocktail Night
With a tinge of Met gala and dark glam forest feel the décor was filled with exotic dark flowers and dark colored velvets. One major highlight here was, Jophy drumming live and Mehal dancing to his drum beats. Also their parents dressed as Jophy and Mehal by wearing DPS uniforms and performed their love story. Isn’t that just great?
How about these trendy clothes for men to look uber stylish.
3. Gorgeous Christian Wedding Ceremony
The Christain wedding was outdoors in the courtyard of Suryagarh. The décor was romantic, white and serene. Guests were seated with little cards and flower boxes while a live choir set the tone of the wedding. It was a beautiful and serene ceremony that you can’t get enough of.

4. The Grand Wedding In Jaisalmer
Inspired by Padmavat, Jophy and Mehal wore the same outfits worn by Shahid and Deepika in the film. While she entered in the doli to Ek Dil Ek Jaan, the entire hotel was lit with oil lanterns keeping it elegant. The highlight was definitely the Pandit who made the pheras so beautiful that hardly people left the mandap. Both the groom and bride were dressed in their best that we are surely not taking our eyes off them anytime soon.

5. Celebrating The Beginning Of Both Families, Malwari
To make their wedding even more unique, they performed the Jodha Akbar scene, where 16 girls were dressed in the same attire leaving the crowd gasping as to what was going on. Followed by Jophy walking in blind folded by his sister-in-law and finding his bride once his blindfold was removed. The punishment was if he wouldn’t find her, he would have to sleep in a separate room that night. But guess what without cheating, he found his wife.
6. End To The Festivities With A Beautiful Sufi Night
A soulful goodbye with most gorgeous set ups with huge fire marshals, lanterns and lots of mirrors . Javed Ali was an absolute star and the crowd went crazy dancing on tables too.
The highlight however was the Ghoomar dance performed with real fire by the bride as an ode to her husband and father.
