The couple met 3 years ago through a dating application and their first meeting was a big hit. They planned a picnic in a park for Valentine’s Day. The picnic turned into a hike at sunrise. Matt was determined to go to Point Dume in Malibu and ask Nonie to marry him. Everything turned out perfect when they were at the beach watching the sunrise, Matt proposed to her and she said yes. They had a very small wedding with just 35 guests. Nonie’s family could not fly to the USA because of the flight ban. One of their very good friends officiated the wedding and Nonie’s best friend helped with all other arrangements.
