After four years of dating, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are finally married! The couple ditched the traditional wedding and exchanged vows on February 19, 2022. Due to Covid protocols, Shibani and Farhan Akhtar’s wedding was kept a private affair with only close friends and family. They walked down the aisle at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s farmhouse in Khandala.

1. Farhan Akhtar’s Wedding Ceremony Was Serene!
Farhan and Shibani ditched a Marathi wedding ceremony or a nikah, the couple exchanged vows. in presence of their loved ones. The Khandala farmhouse is located amid hills and certainly made a romantic backdrop for their wedding. Farhan wore a classic black suit while Shibani chose a red corset dress from Jade by Monica & Karishma. The bride completed her bridal look with a long red veil that matched her off-shoulder corset.

Post their wedding ceremony, Shibani seemed like a happy and excited bride as she hugged her friends and family. The couple was also seen clicking pictures and dancing to Bollywood tunes.
Farhan was seen shaking his leg with Hrithik Roshan on their song Senorita in a video that is making rounds on social media.

2. Shibani Dandekar’s Wedding Prep
Shibani Dandekar took her Instagram story to flaunt her bridal shoes a day prior to her wedding. She posted a glimpse of her wedding footwear for her D-day. Shibani opted for Aquazzura’s red pumps which are worth Rs 82,000. It is from Aquazzura’s bridal collection and is labeled as Love Link Sling. She captioned the picture “Let’s do this.”
This bridal footwear is made in Italy from soft grosgrain in pure love red. The design has a sharp and pointy narrow towering toe and is finished with a glossy finish. The belt of the heels has a heart-shaped chain at the heel.

3. The Guest List Of Farhan Akhtar’s Wedding Was Star-Studded!
Post their wedding ceremony, the couple indulged in clicking some pictures. They even rounded up for some dancing and had a gala time while Shankar Mahadevan performed live.
Shibani’s sister Anusha Dandekar was also spotted arriving at the venue dazzling in a white Manish Malhotra outfit. Farhan Akhtar’s wedding was surely a star-studded affair. The guest list included his sister Zoya Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Rhea Chakraborty, Farah Khan, Amrita Arora, Saqib Saleem, Shankar Mahadevan, and so on.
Also, Farhan’s father, Javed Akhtar, read out a poem that he had specially composed for this occasion.
