An Unconventional Lockdown Wedding In School

Apoorva and Alisha had a lockdown wedding in school, how cool is that? These two childhood acquaintances have known each other for years. And they happen to share a mutual best friend, who was adamant that these two should date each other. But they never paid any heed to her advice. After all these years, the two lovebirds hit it off in November 2020 amidst the pandemic. Both Apoorva and Alisha decided to share their life but the lockdown got in their way. 

So, before anything else could hinder their plans any further, they decided to have an intimate wedding with both their families. And the wedding venue was as hatke as their love story, i.e. Alisha’s parents’ school auditorium in Delhi.

1. At-Home Engagement Ceremony

The engagement ceremony took place at Apoorva’s house in Delhi. They had a traditional Radha-Krishna setup for their engagement ceremony with marigold flowers. Alisha was dressed in sparkling olive-mustard lehenga with a pink dupatta and stunning gold jewelry. Apoorva on the other hand looked dashing in a pastel sherwani.

2. Mehendi & Haldi Function

The mehendi and haldi functions were held at Alisha’s house in Delhi. The fun and vibrant decor looked simply beautiful. Alisha looked gorgeous in an elegant blush pink lehenga for her mehendi ceremony.

4. Lockdown Wedding In School

Alisha and Apoorva decided to seal the deal in Alisha’s parents’ school in Delhi. The ceremony was performed in the school auditorium. We loved their unconventional approach to choose a school as their wedding venue. It sure bonded them with a memorable experience for life.
